A Digital Photo Frame is a device that presents digital picture files in an attractive housing. DPFs were created in order to accomodate the increasing interest in digital imaging. Providing a convenient, and appealing way to display digital images, the DPF category is one of the fastest growing categories in consumer electronics.
A Digital Photo Frame requires 3 things:
1. Monitor: Usually an LCD or a TFT screen. The ZW7A has a TFT screen.
2. Memory or Memory readability: A DPF must have the ability to retrieve image files from a memory source. The memory source may be located internally on the frame, or externally in a memory device, such as an SD card. The ZW7A does not have internal memory, but may connect to SD, MMC, MS Cards, and USB Flash Drives.
3. Housing: A DPFs housing may look like a traditional wood frame, or like something more contemporary. The ZW7A sports a traditional black frame.
