Omnitech ZW7A
How do I know if my files are the correct format?
All image files must be in JPEG format, meaning that they must have a .jpg extension on the file names. To find out what the customer's file extensions are, they must use their computer.
1. Connect the memory card/USB drive into a computer using the computer card slots or USB jacks. *If the customer is using a memory card, but computer does not have memory card slots, put the memory card into a camera or memory card reader, and plug the second device into the computer's USB jack.
2. Locate the folder for the Memory Card/USB Drive.
- Some computers will automatically find the memory source and give the option to "Open folder to view files."
- In other computers, the customer may have to go to "My Computer" to locate the source files. The memory source will appear under a removable disk drive. Right clicking this will give you the option to open the folder.
3. With the folder open, all files and folders stored to the device will be displayed. Right click on an item and click "Properties". The computer will display various information about the file including the file type.
4. Verify that the files in question are .JPG or JPEG. Image files such as .GIF, or .BMP will not be displayed on the ZW7A.
"The files were not JPEG, but I still wish to view them. "
"The files were correct, but didn't they display on my DPF."
